Japhet Bates Collective is pleased to announce A LINEAGE OF INSTINCT, a group exhibition curated by Preston Douglas Boyer.
Drawing on Houston's singular art history, this exhibition channels the spirit of the Menil, Walter Hopps, and the intimate, risk-taking collector culture that helped shape the city into a serious center for contemporary art.
An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 6:00--9:00PM.
